Happy 2-Month Birthday to Joshua!

Today Joshua is officially 2 months old (9 weeks old tomorrow but weeks and months apparently have no correlation in Babyland). In celebration, we have decided to stop being such blog slackers, so enjoy some recent pictures of Joshua and thoughts on parenthood.

Every evening Brian gives Joshua a bath and he LOVES it! (Who wouldn't love taking a bath on the kitchen counter with a relaxing bath net to keep you afloat?!?) At the end of bath time we remove the net and hold Josh's head as he kicks and swims in his 4-inch deep neighborhood pool.

Joshua has finally graduated from the pack-and-play in our room to the real crib in his nursery. Here you can see Joshua enjoying a nap with his stuffed animal friends...

Some naps, however, still take place on the couch...

We love watching Joshua SMILE!!! Here he is getting ready to watch the Super Bowl. He had $150 from his college fund on the Giants! He's getting closer to the Ivy League in College Station every day...

An unfortunate part of Joshua's birthday present was his two-month trip to Dr. Pope's office. While it was fun to find out that Josh now weighs in at 12lbs. 10oz. (75th percentile) and is 23 3/4 inches long (50th percentile), getting his first round of four shots and watching him digest some other sort of weird concoction was less than a party!
